Grandpa Gus

So, I thought I would post a blog since I haven't done it in awhile, and since I'm random like that. I've had a good weekend so far. Last night, we enjoyed dinner at the church, supporting the young people and then went to Kassie and Randy's new home, to see what they've gotten themselves into. While visiting with them, sitting in their new, un-furnished, living room; we witnessed my boy, Miles Hunter, take the most steps he's ever taken in his young life. I would show the video of it, but blogger doesn't allow uploads from my iPhone for some strange reason.... Anyway, he walked, and I am proud. Today, I sit at work with little more than typing to do on this beautiful Spring day. Seems almost torturous to sit indoors while the world enjoys the warm sunny day.... and garage sales. Yes, it's that time of year again. City wide garage sale time!!! On my way to the office, it seemed like Dallas rush hour traffic minus the highways, honking, 150,000,000 cars, and accidents. I had to wait 2 minutes while Grandpa Gus crossed the street after parking his pick-up and long flatbed trailer across the street from a small sale. I guess he expected to make a great haul from this sale... anyway, I'm at work. Hope your Saturday is going as well as mine so far! Watch out for Grandpa Gus and pick-ups and long flatbed trailers while you're out and about enjoying your sunny Spring day.
