Starting to Float!

The water is off and the tide is high, and Farley's hands are tied because of our Homeowner's Protection Plan. He didn't sign up to be a "Preferred Plumber" when the paperwork was mailed to him (procrastinator) and so we're stuck, waiting to hear from a plumber that may or may not call. I've already called the "Emergency" line twice and sat on hold for 10 minutes each time. Not that I'm complaining, because I'm sure it will be worth the wait (in Jesus name) when they finally arrive.

Our bedroom is now soaking wet in the corner and we are just praying it doesn't get to the bed. My dad and I pulled the cap outside and discovered all kinds of nice goodies floating there which tells us the clog is between the house and the road, more than likely on our property and not the city's side. I'm learning so much in such a short amount of time!! I haven't even made the first payment yet, but I've sure learned a lot about plumbing, a/c units, and the fact that "Home Inspections" don't mean a thing!

Well, thanks to our wonderful realtor, Vivian Kirkpatrick (the best!!!!), we have a man coming to clean up the mess in the morning. She has more connections than my good friend Coz, and that's A LOT!!! So, we shall see what happens

And we sail on...

-approved by Farley Wells, CMDI who is not on my good side at the moment.
