No Internets!!!

Yes, I know it’s not really plural, but that’s the way my hero President George W. Bush says it so I’ve adopted it as well. I am having to “rob” access to the internets from work because I don’t have ours yet, with us being in a new home and all. How is it going, you ask? Well, GREAT! I feel that Kim and I are becoming quite accustomed to living in our own place. We’ve now had three meals there, slept four nights there, and I’m already getting a new routine. It doesn’t vary much from the old, aside from the fact that each night, I check the doors to make certain they are locked, the garage to make certain it is closed, trip over that stupid box in the middle of the floor, and check the porch light, to make certain it is on so that it casts just that perfect beam of light across the entry and down the hall, just incase I have to be the hero to search out that strange noise in the night. In the mornings, I get up and pretty much do everything in reverse of the night before, with a few exceptions.

Chandler and Jorgie just realized what “Outside” is actually for now. It is no longer for me to tag along to make certain they “do” their job in the yard and not in the house, but it is a place where they can run, play, bark, howl, and sniff out all those mysterious odors that are imbedded deep within the earth’s first 2 inches of dirt. What is there that is SO interesting to sniff out? I’ll never know! Anyway, I’m already backed up on “honey-do’s.” So I guess life as a homeowner has officially begun!

Since I’m at work, I’d better get going. And just incase one of the “Big Boys” are reading, I’m counting this as my break for the afternoon, so HAH!!! Thought you had me didn’t you! I’d better get back to work before I get in trouble.
