Well, in a "by faith" action, I've found a replacement for the Sentra, though it hasn't sold yet. Lori has had a 1997 Jeep Cherokee for many, many, many years and it has sat in the driveway next door for many, many, many years; immobile. The transmission is out, it needs a radiator, needs some body work, needs tires, needs some interior work and there's a leak in an air hose somewhere which causes it to drain freon which in turn causes the a/c to not work. With all of that said, its actually in pretty good shape. I see potential.... and a manlier vehicle than a Sentra. Plans are, I'll fix the transmission, radiator, paint it, buy tires (possibly wheels too) , fix the a/c, and drive it til the wheels fall off, or pass it on to a very deserving child of mine when they prove to me that they can drive. I'm sure they'll hate it, but I'll always be able to tell them the story of my first car and they'll be happy to drive it.
Anyway, I'm hoping to have some pictures to post of it soon, if I can get SOMEBODY with a BRAND NEW CAMERA, that went to Europe, to come take some shots of it. I'm wanting to keep a picture journal so the world can see the progress made. I'm excited because its my first "restore" project.
So, in honor of my new found "hobby", I have just added a survey. Feel free to answer and help me out.
-approved by Farley Wells, SAD-CMDI who's getting excited about restore the Jeep too! His last restore was a Vespa with the side car.
