Finding Freddie

Tonight I have begun my mission. A mission to seek out, capture, and free in a wide open field, Freddie who happens to be reeking havick on our apartment. Freddie is the name I am assigning a small 'thing' that keeps visiting us at the most unexpected hours and eating our food. Freddie has even the ferocious Sir Chandler running for cover in his shared abode. Freddie.... is about two inches long in body and has a tail that is ten times that. Freddie, is a mouse. A mouse who is trying to just simply survive in a world much larger than he. I happen to be more humane than my wonderful wife who would like nothing more than to see Freddie dangling from Jorgie's clinched jaws with a snarl! I want to capture Freddie, using a glue trap and release him in the wide open spaces of a field from whence he came. So, until I find Freddie, happy Tuesday and I'll keep you posted!

-approved by Farley Wells, CMDI who is shaking in his boots at the very thought!

Are you really going to UNGLUE Freddy from the trap and release him?? Icky!! I always glue 'em then....well, I'm not very humane, but will say the thing is dead before it goes outside in the trash! I'm with Kim on this one. Kill, kill, kill!!

Well, I like them eating all the things that "Bug" us in the outside world. Keep the "Circle of Life" going.

FYI - if you use a glue strip, Freddie will not be coming off of that!! Once he's on that it would be more humane to kill him. Just ask Bro. Gene about his experiences with mice and glue strips. LOL!

Well, Freddie is now safe in the great outdoors. At about 11:50 PM we heard him squeek and flop around. I got some Veg. Oil and took him out in the field and said good-bye. He ran for joy... and probably his life.

I guess Freddie's in a better place now. You are much kinder than I.

Eeeek!!! I'm afraid Freddy would have had the house all to himself. Me and creatures don't get along at all!
