Can you guess who these 'undercover' people are? Well, it ain't that hard! I'm the cute yellow one. I didn't fill out that costume real well then, but I'm sure I could pass for the perfect "Big Bird" now.... big gut, bird legs, and the fact that I'm told that I look like a bird! The "Cookie Monster," well she could pass for that too! I hear that her and her friends get together all the time and bake dozens of cookies, and then fight over who gets to eat them. REALLY! And then there's the tall one, I thought we were following a "Sesame Street" Theme here... work with us!!! Anyway, the first picture is one Easter Sunday Morning in the 80's.... OH WAIT, it's Halloween! The fireplace threw me off, we
always had our Easter pictures in front of the fireplace too. Why is that? Do fireplaces make for a good backdrop to go with any holiday, social gathering, or family occasion? Really, in my line of work, I do DVD's for families, and I have noticed that this is not just a "Dutton" tradition, it is in EVERY family that has a fireplace. Seriously, go look through your old picture albums and boxes, I know you will find at least 3 pictures very similar to these with either your fireplace, your parents, or your grandparents fireplace in the background. I find it quite humorous to get a stack of photos
from a family and you can see Billy Bob at age 2 in front of the fireplace, and then a little later, 16 in front of the fireplace, then 30 in front of the SAME fireplace, and then as a grandpa with his 28 and 1/3 grandchildren ALL crammed around the fireplace for that special picture with the PERFECT backdrop that is just ever so original. Even in the traditional photo of me and my closest friends at age early 20's, we chose none other than, the infamous fireplace. You can't even see the thing!! So, next time you gather together at your home and are ready for picture time, which we all go through, think about it and maybe try something new. You never know when your photo just might take hold and that laundry room or the garage door backdrop will become the "New Fireplace." Just food for thought.-smile, this post is approved by Farley Wells, CMDI

OOOOOOOOOKKKKKK! I think the time has come.....NO MORE "MR. NICE GUY".... I think that "Tiger hat" picture is just dying to get on a blog!!!!! LOL!
And BTW, if you look at some of the old Dutton Photos...the backdrop is the driveway with whoever's new car or even the garage door area...LOL! Another infamous backdrop is the Christmas tree which usually looks like the top of it is sitting on someones head since that is the only part of the tree you can see! As for the Sesame Street theme---they were all sold out of the Oscar costumes...LOL!
LOL! I got a great laugh out of this one. Easter Sunday morning - oh, no - it's halloween!!!! I'm trying to figure out who that guy is with a dress on?? I needed this laugh!! And, see what few years will do - the least is now the most - the smallest is now the greatest!
Thanks for the laugh, Lynn!
LOL!!! That's funny Bro. Gene! Lori, the tree and the piano, or the old stereo, like the pic of the 'little indians'... too funny!!
