Lighten Up a Bit

I thought I'd share a funny story from a while back to lighten up the mood a bit. Kim and I were on our way somewhere, I don't remember where, but we were on the highway traveling. We were just driving along, enjoying the ride, both awake, surprisingly enough, and we saw a deer on the side of the road. Kim, in a way that only she can, said "I didn't think it was deer season!" Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard I almost cried. I explained to her that deer are out all year long, not just during the time allotted to kill them. It was quite humorous. So now, upholding the Dutton Family Tradition, I can't just drop it, every time the opportunity arises, I have to get my little jab in. Like, we were walking around the lake a few weeks ago and there weren't quite as many ducks out as usual. I made the comment that we were there in the wrong season because duck season wasn't for a few more months. I don't have a clue when duck season is, or if there is such a thing, but I just had to let her know that I would haunt her with it as long as we both shall live, AND THEN she informed me that they couldn't have gone far, seeing as ducks can't FLY. I Love you Babe, sorry you have to put up with me and my sarcastic humor. My life is so much greater with you in it.
