My blog actually let me sign in! It's been so long that I was concerned it may not. Talk about busy! I have done nothing but go, go, go, every since I got back from vacation. "They" always say that you ALWAYS get paid back for taking vacations and I think I have to this point, between work and church activities.
Last night was the "Night in a Box" event in the parking lot of Big Lots. I, of course, wasn't able to participate in the sleeping in a box part, due to work, but I did go out there a couple of times to see what was going on and I must say to any of our youth who weren't a part of the event, you missed out! So much for being "cool" and not participating because seems as if their were a lot of "cool" people who showed up and had a lot of fun all night long! And of course, our boxes ROCKED because they were true cardboard with nothing but tape holding them together in 40 mph winds and they stayed together, when others broke the rules and used wood.... losers cheat. Anyway, what part I was there looked really fun and I think everyone involved really enjoyed it.
Today, I've been working. Funerals, funerals, funerals, find Jewish Rabbi for Monday... funerals, funerals funerals. Did you know that Jewish Rabbi's are hard to find? Take it from me, they are! I'm using my "resources" (aka fellow competitor funeral director friends) to see if they have any ideas and to this point... no luck, but I'm not giving up! I'll find one, somehow.
Tonight, not sure what I'm gonna do... may just sit at home and dream of Saturday, since it's only Wednesday in my world. Hope you're enjoying your Saturday or whatever it is to you!
