In this first week of 'Obama-mania' I have come to the conclusion that I am now officially tired of Obama jokes, Obama emails, Obama text messages, black jokes, and racial slurs. No, I don't like Obama and no, I haven't been drinking the "Obama Kool-aid"; I'm just tired of it! I think it's kind of cool to have a black man in the oval office, and I find it utterly repulsive to hear people make racial comments about the man. The color of his skin has NOTHING to do with his ability to run the country... now, his policies and beliefs, well... that's another story. It's amazing to me, all the people who claim how "not prejudice" they are, and how "not racist" they are, but their true colors come out now - now, that we have a black president elect.
So, I'm done! I'm done with the "property value going down around the White House" and "the presidential limos getting new 20" wheels with spinners"; and if I hear the 'N' word one more time, I'll be tempted to hit whoever says it! It's all becoming very childish and STUPID! I think that we, as Americans, should respect our leaders, even if we don't agree with them.
We voted, some more than others, and Palin and what's his name didn't win! We've licked our wounds, now, lets move on and stop with the racism!
