This weekend, we went to Kim's family's for Christmas with the Dawson's and the Nash's. This is always a great time with a family that is very loving and VERY close to one another. They always have a little competition between Kim's mom, aunts and uncles that is always quite humorous. The goal is to argue about who was the best all year and to give
a gag gift of some sort. Very funny and sometimes touching when you get to see big ole Dennis tear up at the love shown from his sisters. The night always ends with a Chinese Christmas where we try to get the gift WE bought and this year, I came home with a $25 iTunes card. I'll put that to good use, no doubt!
Kim's parents gave me an addition to my stadium collection with Shea Stadium where the NY Mets play. Thanks Regina and David! I have the perfect place for it in the curio.
We really had a great time and I enjoyed every minute spent with friends and family. I have decided to leave you with a picture that gave Kim and I a start when she opened her memaw's front door to go out to the car.
Don't worry, it wasn't due to Kim's driving, the neighbor was burning trash just across the street, but it did make for a great picture!
