Monday evening's event, I actually cooked ALL BY MYSELF! Can you believe? I fixed Taco salad. I know, no big deal, but it was for me. I followed my wife's instructions, cooked the meat and mixed it up with all the other goodies and created a pretty good salad, I must say.
Tuesday night's event, I didn't do so hot or maybe EXTREMELY
HOT is what I should say. I'm not much on the grill when it comes to beef, but I try. I tried with some ribs and, I haven't even told Kim this but I put them on the grill, came back in and thought, "I'll check on them in about 5 to 7 minutes." I did and to my surprise, there were flames shooting straight up from the grill about 5 or 6 feet in the air. Kim was inside on the phone, so I calmly turned off the propane, turned off the burners, moved the ribs over to the "cool" side of the grill and let the fire burn down. After a couple minutes, I checked the ribs, they looked pretty good to have been through hellfire and brimstone, so I took them off. I calmly walked inside and Kim said, "Are those all ready done?" I said, "Yep!" We ate, and they weren't bad. I've had better, but they weren't bad. Don't ask Kim how they were!

ay, we always have a dinner event with my parents on Wednesdays before church, so I didn't have a chance to burn the house down, BUT TONIGHT, I'm gonna give it a try again. This time, it's something I know how to grill........chicken. It's easy, just cook it til its white and go eat it. "If it ain't white, it ain't right!" Right? We'll see. Wish me luck!

Wishing you and yours a wonderful 'Event'
Happy Eating
Yeah, I did just find out about the whole grill bit. LOL. He didn't cook tonight though, I didn't even really eat my cooking either. I am not feeling very well and didn't feel like eating much. Unsual I know.
She didn't want me to cook, so I guess that says how good the ribs were....lol.
Okay I got me a good laugh out of this!
It sounds like you cook like me! Only if I have too and then it is just bearable at best.
Taking time now to pray for poor Kim!...Okay, you too, Lynn. God bless you both despite your "hidden talents"!
Happy eating!
