Life, Eating, and the Pursuit of Laughter

Well, I was wrong, I got to Monday and to my surprise, I was not looking forward to going back to work. I guess I got used to "bumming" around, doing nothing and now I'm actually having to do something. Oh well, that's life. I did, however, have an enjoyable day! Now that I'm one of two Directors for two busy locations, the day went rather quickly. I always say that I'd rather be busy doing something all day than to sit and waste away a whole day... just seems to make the day go by faster.

We had a good weekend, one of "Rarity." Friday night, we went out with two of my closest friends, Cosme and Joseph, and also Joseph's uncles, Larry and Ernie who were just hilarious! They thought Cosme was just the funniest guy. I told him he needed to move to upstate New York and be a comedian, up where people think he's funny! Anyway, we had such a good time, eating, talking, and laughing. It was just a time that you don't get very often and when you do, it's like a breath of fresh air.


Saturday, Kim and I went to Ronnie's Burgers and had some REALLY good burgers and fries, I LOVE THEIR FRIES! Afterwards, we ran around, window shopping at the mall and then did something we RARELY do, we went home for a Saturday night of cooking out and enjoying just a peaceful night alone together. I must say, I like those kinda nights. I do enjoy the time we spend with our friends, but you can't beat time with the one you love.

Sunday was an awesome time in the presence of the Lord. Both services were wonderful!! I received more than I could ever have imagined in those two services, and I think several others would agree. The presence of the Lord was so strong. After service Sunday night, we came home again, but this time had friends for dinner. It was a great time of visiting and a little more laughing. All-in-all, it was a WONDERFUL few days of simple things I won't soon forget.


I love my life! I'm so blessed.
