Some may wonder how I've been able to blog during the day since usually I am working.... okay, so maybe you don't care, well for those who do I am on VACATION!!!! Since Monday morning at 8 am to next Monday morning at 8 am, I am enjoying nothing to do but nothing. So what have I done with my time, you ask? Well......Monday: I cleaned the apartment, did laundry, blogged, went to lunch with Kim, played a computer game, read my Bible, went to prayer, went to bed a little early and got up late Tuesday.
Tuesday: Got up late, like 9 for me, that's all I can sleep in these days, finished laundry, did a bit of exercise, drew, played a computer game, read my Bible, took a nap, went to bed and got up late Wednesday.
Wednesday: I got up late and now I'm blogging about my vacation so far.
For all who care, that's what I did. I had to take my vacation this week due to us losing some funeral directors and my dad telling me if I wanted the time, I might want to take it now, cause it's gonna get crazy. Crazy seems to be a constant state of living in the funeral business, the way I see it. It always seems too busy to do anything but work, BUT I am learning to say 'NO' if it's my time off, it's my time off! I know some may get offended at the thought of me 'putting my foot down' but if I want to put my feet up in a few years and live a long, healthy life, I had better learn to say 'NO' now. So, here I am, off and enjoying a leisurely week. Do I know whats going on at work, NO and that is GREAT!!! It'll be there Monday and I'm sure I'll be ready to get back to it, but for now, I'm gonna go draw. Hope Wednesday is good for you.
-approved by Farley Wells, CMDI... who is giving me a dirty look. Hey, I can't help it if you haven't been working here long enough for a VACATION!!!!

Enjoy the time off! It's always good to take a little time to rest and sleep as long as you can. You'll be "up and at 'em" real soon!
My favorite part about this whole blog is this:
Crazy seems to be a constant state of living in the funeral business, the way I see it.
"living" in the funeral business...it just made me "die" (excuse the pun) laughing at the thought! thanks for the laugh lYnny D
