Ahhh... Memorial Day.

The day all the rest of the world has off, but I, being a funeral director, go to work. That's not what its about though. It's about honoring those, like so many in my family, who have sacrificed so that I can get up when no one else is working, put on my suit, and head to work. Knowing that I am free to work, free to live, and free to have a day such as this.
We're having a Memorial Day Service in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. I get to assist people in finding the graves of their loved ones who were veterans or who lost their lives fighting for us. It's quite amazing the amount of soldiers who are buried in our cemetery. Families will be placing flags on the graves. By the time it's all said and done, there will be thousands of little flags, all over the cemetery. It really makes me proud to be in the business I'm in. Memorializing the lives of these brave men. I'm honored.
So, if you happen to be out today and would like to stop by and see this beautiful sight, please do so. I know you will leave with just a bit more pride in our great nation and it's fallen soldiers. I believe the memorial service is at 9 AM, for all who would like to be there. You might check the paper for the exact time. We have a large ad, giving the times for all of the services in the local area. Thank you all for honoring those who have fallen and God Bless America!

Lynn, I'm right with you in honoring those who have served and died for the cause of freedom and those who are currently serving in the war right now. I'm proud that I live in America and I'm a big Bush supporter.
